Anyone ever thinking about an Overlander, here's one for sale:

Looks rough, but all you need to do to make a ute/van/tonner out of this is to remove the wagon's front rails including springs, diff, steering etc, and cut the corresponding sedan/wagon/statesman rail section out of the commercial's chassis and weld the Overlander's rails in. Sounds difficult, but just a cut and reweld process. The rear diff will bolt straight under a ute/van/tonner's springs. There needs to be a small section removed from the ute/van/tonner's under floor member and a hole cut for the transfer case sticks (simply copy off the wagon). The rear tailshaft will fit a ute/van but would have to be longer for a tonner. The 308, TH400 etc all hook up to any HQ-WB body as it does in a 2WD.

Looks like Overlanders are the flavour of the month.

That one isn't a "genuine" one.
