hi im a newbie to the v8 world. anyways my chevy 327 dont start..i mean it does for a little then dies? what could be the headache??

i am not the expert,,but it is process of elimination,??? first check you have petrol in the carbi,, next check you have spark?? then if you those two things, then it is something that is intermitant,,, runs out of petrol? in the carbi? coi |

Depending on how long it runs for, could point to a few things.
If it runs while the starter is engaged, but then shuts down as soon as you release the key, it could be something in the ignition barrel, or a wiring fault tht only energises the coil while |
