hey i was just wondering if anyone knew how to tell what pattern my 308 is holden or chev pattern were the tans bolts up

the easiest way to tell is the lower two bolt boles in either side of the block, and the location of the dow.
If the locating dow is approx 1/2 way between these = chev.
If the Dow favours the side of the lower bolt hole in block, ie.e the bottom one,
Old holdens brought on the spot, quick decision, cash paid.
