Just wondering.... Ive got a 253 on dual fuel. How far would I advance to timing? I now its good to have a happy medium on dual fuel, but I primarilily run on gas. Are the incriments 2 degrees?

AFAIK gas likes more initial timing and centrifugal advance to start earlier, but less total advance. So simply advancing it hurts it at higher revs. You should probably disconnect the vacuum advance too.

You should get a timing light that can read total advance
any more than 35 degrees total advance and it will cost you an engine sooner or later. On a dizzy set up and recurved for duel fuel at idle you run 14-16 degrees advance . With standard dizzy chec

duel ignition system......?? there is this company just around the corner in Nunawading that sell duel fuel ignition system ........
has anyone had any experience with one of these......?
The idea being that gas (LPG) needs a different ignition curve
