Ive got this prem, with a 253 under bonnet, Trimatic and 3.08 diff. This car is about as stock as you can get! I definately need more grunt, but am undecided the best way to go about it. If i change the engine for more ccs I will definately keep the original (for resale). But is it worth doing some engine strenght work and supercharging the 253? I'm in desperate need of more HP!! I can rebuild a 327 or 350, to put in - but is it worth wild considering other mods I will have to do? I'm not exactly sure how much you can get out of a 253 - but i've seen and heard some pretty loose ones!
