Hi folks, i have a 186 s engine in very good running condition mated to a powerglide in a prem HT.....
Can anyone tell me if this engine was standard in this vehicle.. ?
Engine # 186S259085
Firewall # HT 24906M
Body # 025499 M
Model # HT 31169
The engine runs well and has everything as original..not modified or altered at all... is this the same as they put in Monaros ?
What could this engine be worth for a restorer ?
I am thinking of selling it, cos i have a 307 to do up...
From what i can tell , its good to go in a Monaro?
Any ideas..

It could be original, but not very common except in GTS. Same stuff as GTS. Quite valuable to someone with the right car for it.
