hi my son drove through a puddle and his car stalled and we had it towed home it will not start the AAA guy said the it was not getting fuel can some on help me

Hi undo the fuel line that goes to the carb.. should be one hose clip. Put it into a bottle and crank the car. If fuel comes out in pulses then it shows fuel pump working and you have gas in the tank.

You can prob check the carb without removing from vehicle sorry just remove the top of it check the float isnt full of petrol while you are there.
If an aa guy has touched it check what he touched as I had one comeout once on company car and he checked t

ive been called out to a few of those it was always th distributor wet.
it had fuel when it hit the puddle.

hi i CHECKED THE SAFTY SHUTOFF FOR THE FUEL PUMP WAS STILL IN SAFE MODE I FOUND THAT I WAS GETTING SPARK ALSO WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE

Lift the lid off the air cleaner & move the throttle linkage as though accelerating you should see the accelerator pump squirt fuel into the venturi if you don't try pouring a drop of fuel down it's throat if it starts then dies then you need to fix why t
