Just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this setup before, twin side draft webbers on a 253/308 Holden engine. You can view the setup by coping and pasting my photobucket picture address below. http://i109.photobucket....ingoingon/308Webber.jpg

Twin side draft webers were used by HDT at Bathurst in 74. Manifold used was 1 piece. For 253 might be too much carby unless correctly jetted down and tuned.

I think they were Group C setups for Torries. Prob too much for a 253 as JBM says, but I reckon a single webber would be a nice setup. UNless of course you can stagger the opening. But 253s dont really get the revs u need to suck that much air/fuel. Also

That would be cool and a bit different. Weber do make tiny totts, little 36mm downdraught IDFs...not sure if they do the same sidedraught though. A couple of those would probably do a 253. |

Now you have me interested in fitting it to our 253 and like you said use smaller webbers, well at least we can buy it and experiment. http://i109.photobucket....gon/253Webbersetupp.jpg
