Hi,I'm familiar with the FMX and C4 autos but can anyone tell me about C10 autos like what vehicles came out with them, are they any good and can you put one behind a 351C.Thanks.

on the same note, are they similar to a C4 or C6, I can get kickdown cables for a C4 & C6, but can't find them for the C10, will the others bolt up ?

C10 is a C4 update. XD on. i think. the C6 IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT box. big one piece alloy box. some F100 and pre 1973 YANK LTD.

Whoops Been a little while since my auto trans days but I think as a basic rule the C4 is for the smaller V8's 302, 289 and maybe 2 barrel 351, the C9 is for 6 cylinders with heavy duty applications ( as opposed to a borg warner 35,40)and the C10 for

i have a 83 bronco 351c man wat is involved in replacing with c10 auto box

C4"s-C10's much the same box.One has dipstick into side of pan other goes thru the top.Kick downd etc should be the same except for 6cyl.V8's have lh linkage set up Regards Henry
