hi,am i right in assuming that the only thing i need to do to fit a 1 ton diff into a ute is to change the yoke?
and what is this thing called a "crush spacer" or "crush washer" ? How do you correctly fit it and torque it please ?
reason is i have a 1 ton diff and driveshaft, but think the shaft is too long for the ute. just spares if i crack something, would like to know BEFORE i blow it
thanx in advance, johnny

If you have a one tonne diff from a v8 one tonner, say with a trimatic as orginal fit and want to use this diff in a ute with a v8 trimatic, then it will bolt up providing you use the ute tailshaft, if you have a one tonner salibury diff from a 6 cylinder

All 1-tonners use the same yoke. You dont need to change the yoke. Just buy an adapter uni joint with 1" cups on one axis (for the tailshaft) and 1.25" cups on the other (for the yoke).
