hi can anyone tell me the best way of transporting bulky items such as two front seats and a back from melb to syd rang couriers not many will do car parts etc thanks

I've used couriers for car seats before.. try some others..

You can get a large box from say a washing machine or similar. Remove the head rests if possible, put the seats in the box in a yin and yang position and put the headrests in the gap in the middle of the seats. a bit of bubble wrap/screwed up newspaper/pa

If your serious about transporting the seats buy some of that 6mm construction ply and make a pine frame then screw the ply to the frame. When it gets to where your going pull it apart and store it in the shed for next time.

Furniture removalistS are the most expensive way to transport goods, recently at work I transported a 600kg MFU to South Australia from Rockhampton Qld and this only cost $250 it took 4 days using TNT.

Actually the best way to transport them from Melb to Sydney is to find out if someone here is coming up & pay for a good chunk of their fuel. Still cheaper than any courier and they win too.
