You can buy them new for $1500 but repro's that are exact copies of the originals (you can't tell the difference). If it was 10/10 and a gen Ford item? $1500 is possible. XB Fairmont sedan : [email protected] |

Who sells them new?
XA GT bonnets are fetching big bucks but there were a lot more XB bonnets made so the demand is not realy greater than the supply. an 8/10 bonnet as long as it's XB and not XC ( XC has no lock down pins ) is fetching around the $30

Superoo do a recon XBGT bonnet for about $600. I bought an original one in very good nick for $250 earlier this year. I would pay up to 4-500 for a good one, wouldn't pay any more than that.

Is the XB GT bonnet any different to an XB GS bonnet? If they are the same this would explain why they are common.

yeah Jim, same bonnet though there are 2 different types of XB GT bonnet. Some GT bonnets had more holes cut under them from the factory making them a tad lighter. XA GT bonnet was only on the XA GT so that makes it the
rarest.
