I have 195 tyres on 15'' rims just wondering if they would safely fit 205's on 15'' rims. The 195's have nitrogen in the tyres is this safe to let go into the atmosphere.

Nitrogen is safe - it makes up a large part of our atmosphere.
Tyre size also depends on rim width. 205s will fit nicely on a 6" rim (assuming yours are 15 x 6" - a very common size)

I know working as a deisel fitter we use nitrogen istead of oxygen for somthings as its an inert gas and cannot react to other elemenets. if your tyres was on fire, oxygen which has been compressed becomes dangerous were nitrogen wont. maybe there is anot |

Hi Guys.
The main reason for using nitrogen in tyres, is that it has 0% water content. You could achieve the same thing with dried air, but bottled nitrogen is more convenient.
If you just use compressed air, as most do, its water content (relative |
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |
