hey guys. Just wondering, is it possible, and is there any benefit to running a side draft weber on a VK injection manifold in place of the throttlebody? just thinking, it would have much the same effect as a tunnelram.
awaiting your thoughts, cheers alex

You can buy manifolds for triple SUs, triple Webers, two, four barrel etc to suit 12 port head. http://www.redlineauto.c...S_TO_SUIT_6_CYL_ENGINES
Yella terra sell new 12 port heads that already flow |

I reckon that the text on that website is a mistake. I can't see how (without porting and/or welding) a manifold can suit red, black and blue. Particularly since they list 2 x different triple Weber manifolds.

My manifold when new was able to be setup for 9 or 12 port. The pads were left wide and no stud holes were drilled. The match porting to the inlet ports was not a real complicated procedure. The old manifold gasket port matching job. As far as I could tel |

149, 161, 179, 186 and 202 XU-1 had adjustable rockers. 130, 138, 173 and 202 were fixed bridge type (There might be some minor overlap somewhere).
Boom, Peter has your answer. You can run the blue/black head if necessary and buy the 4BBL Redline manif |

Although port dividers were specifically installed into Yella Terra "Bathurst 12000" heads to create a 12 port style head. They were used with triple webers. So it may be an assumption on my behalf, and maybe incorrect that triple webers with a 12 port he |

To take advantage of triple Webers or Dellortos you need a 12-port head. What I was getting at was if you use a 9-port style manifold (eg single Holley) with only 3 x runners, on a 12-port head, the port dividers are flat and about 6-10mm wide. So you end |
