Does anyone know of an Australian automotive painting forum, we are about to paint our Holden powered rod and need some help. 20 years ago I worked as a spray painter using Acran 2 pack paint but haven't done any since and now with the new Dulon products I want to get it correct for up.

Check out the newsagents,HOTROD magazine has a special edition out called PAINT YOUR CAR,its not to bad and its up to date with the latest paints.
Im in the same boat as you,the last time I painted a car was about 20years ago using acrylic so Im way be

There's a great book by Al Probert on Spraypainting that's very useful.

use 2k it will out last you on the non rusty parts :) Just as easy to use just mix hardener thinner and paint on undercoat. use base coat for colour which is colour and thinner. Then paint clear soon after it drys which is clear . thinner and hardner.

how much does it cost to respray a car coz i hav no idea and how do u get te bes paint job
