Hi folks. I'm working through the few last glitches before my ZD hits the road properly (not just test flights up and down my street). My speedo doesn't work but when i removed the dash the needle would move when i spun the brass ring on the back of the speedo. I then went for a drive without the dash and stuck my little finger into the end of the speedo cable (as you do), and it was spinning OK. I'm guessing that the speedo works with some kind of interference fit between the drive and the back of the speedo. How do i figure which one is worn out? The brass bit on the back of the speedo or the drive on the cable?

Thanks for your input Max. It looks like the cable has sheared off in the back of the speedo so I'll have a shot at retreiving the bit in the back of the speedo and organise a fresh cable. Cheers
