Am rebuilding an old mustang and have been looking for a 351windsor rebuilder,can any ford nut out there tell me how to ID A 351w from a 302\289w with out ripping it to bits. ps if any one has laying around give me a yell.

Basically the 351W had a deck height nearly 2 inches higher than a 289/302W (1 7/8" higher from memory)

Put it this way if you were to skim the head surfaces of a 302W block with the water pump still bolted on you conceivably would skim the top corner
