I have been looking into aftermarket multi point injection kits for 35o, 383s. both holley and edelbrock make kits for these, was wandering if any body knew of any other kits or ways of converting a carby motor to injection?

Find yourself a SBC TPI setup ie manifold, injectors, throttle body and fuel rails. Then get hold of a VN-VP 5L engine harness, ECU, dizzy and sensors (oil, water, MAP etc). Kalmaker and others can get the dizzy modified to suit the Chev, modify the Memca |

manifold manufacturers make manifold with bosses that are able to be drilled with injectors, then you add a 4bbl throttlebody on top.
If nissan motorsport is nismo, then doesnt that make honda motorsport Homo?

Yes you can do that and its better for top end power, but for a street car its easier to use the factory stuff, plus you get better idle control with the stepper motor on the factory throttlebody.

and Byron's method would probably be cheaper.

Is it ture that TPI Is more restrictive than multi point injection, and that it is limited to its power potential? Not sure how accurate this is but have been told that more power potential out of MPI.

I think youre confusing TBI with TPI there BAD WB.
TBI = Throttle Body Injection, and is little more than what is effectively a carby with an injector or 2 in it. They are pretty woeful, and were fitted to the likes of JD ULP camiras, EA fowl-cans, an |

Cheers Mick. TPI like that found on say late 80's corvettes and like vn to vs 5L's , What are the pro's and cons of this setup compared to a injecton manifold with four barrel thrattel boby that breaths from the top like a normal carby manifold?

Better torque at usable revs and better idle.
