G'day everyone,
Can some one please tell me the best way to identify an Original Monaro from the compliance plate on HQ-HZ series.

easiest way is to use the information on the Body Id Plate located on the passeger side above the firewall..
HQ model should be either: 80337 6cyl base, 80437 v8 base, 80837 gts,
81137 LS 6 cyl, 81237 LS v8 or 81837 GTS 350
best to list the tag

HJ-HZ are WQ37 (coupe) or WQ69 (sedan) on the BODY plate.
