Does anyone know if i can buy Engine mounts for 308 or chev v8 into LC or LJ torana? also can you buy a door pin remover?
Havent you learnt anything from that guy that gives sermons at church?...Captain whats his name.

To mount a 308 into an LJ you would just use V8 LH/LX brackets that go between the block and the rubbers. If you use these brackets off an HT-WB it will still fit but be a fraction higher.

You shouldn't need a custom sump for a 308 (I think). Not sure about the Chev.

I am only going by logic here with the sump. LH/LH 6s used the same sump as an HQ-WB same goes for the V8s but the LC/LJ 6 cyl has its own unique sump and there was no V8 variant so I would take an educated guess that the HQ-WB LH/LX V8 sump would

As Jim stated std engine mounts can be used (HQ-HZ). But as Jim as mentioned a std HQ-HZ sump will not fit.
From memory it sits about two inches to far forward of the rear of the crossmember.
I seem to remember that you have to remove the lip on the L/H
