Decided to change my points dizzy in the HQTonner 253 to an electronic one. The points dizzy has one black wire coming out of it to the + side of the coil whereas the electronic dizzy has two wires coming out of it one pink and one green both together in a tube, question is which one goes where? any help? thanks in advance Merv.

hi mate cant remember colour connections and have concealed the wiring. What i did find is i had to widen spark plug gap and rewire ignition system to bypass resistor in original circuit. hope this helps.

Gday,
The Green wire goes to coil neg and pink is coil 12volts.
Also sounds like your previous coil had been wired to the wrong polarity as the wire from the dizzy should have gone to the neg side. Power supply will have to be re-supplied by either bypa
