bought the latest "just parts" and saw the pro stroke ad for 355 holden rebuild
has anyone anything to say about prostroke (victoria)?
the material specs all look good,scat 9000 crank, speed pro coated hypereutectic pistons,moly rings, king bearings, scat I beam 5.700 rods $1750 total, $100 for the balance job
not sure about backup or balancing
experiences please

i don't know enough to understand what you are saying
i assume you mean the prostroke uses chev rods and chev sized journals on the big ends of a holden crank
where can i find out a little more about come vs prostroke please?

I don't think it matters all that much. Bearings, rod bolts and rings will be the same sort of cost. I suppose it comes down to which pistons you think will be available in the future. The pistons in the 350 kit with the Holden rods should be the same as |

have you ever had anything to do with pro-stroke? all the people ive spoken to that have their kits are very happy.
If you have a choice for the journal size, definitely go with chev imho. rods are cheap, pistons are even cheaper. if you do decide to g

Boom, why would you need to resize rods and fit new bolts when the COME kit comes with brand new rods with Holden journals? Pistons to suit the Chev rods are not cheaper than the Holden version unless you want to be a little "rough" and deck the block (ro |
