Does anyone have a HG 308 waterpump for sale. I need the one with just one heater hose outlet. Willpay the right price for the right part. Cheers. Anyone please help.
I have had a few bites but dont say hey i got one but nah ill keep it unless you pay more than a general guy earns in a week

Rare parts demand a fair price and anything under $400 id grab the first one otherwise you may never get one if you are really that keen to get one.As its a good investment if it goes on the right car so price is nothin compared to the overall picture. G

$400 for a water pump ? Has it really come to this ? Surely someones making them ? (If not then perhaps enquire in the Rare Spares section about this).
Can a shagged one be rebuilt? I know a bloke, local, whos got a few old v8 motors that are pretty well

yes a shagged one can be rebuilt. As for paying 400 for a water pump..I paid 500 for my whole motor.. there are realistic prices and un realistic prices. I tend to be realistic

Sorry mate, no go as all the scrap has been cleaned out. Talked to the old fella for a while and he said for or five were holden motors but no idea if 253 or 308 nor what age they were. Could have been chev for all he knows as he was only going by the fac

thanks heaps. Was at a wreckers today and found two water pumps. one with one outlet and one with one outlet eitherside of the fan neck. Both need rebuilding. $50.00 for the pair donated to the SES tin. Good things come to those who wait. I Got two pumps

I am desperate for a pump would you spare one since now you have two as i wouldnt pay 400 either thats just a joke cheers Dom
