im having trouble with my vl. the car runs good until the temp gets to halfway.i have put a brand new radiator, hoses, leads, plugs, thermo, themo holsting, conducting on leads and the car still plays up. put my bro's dizzy and coil out of his vl in it and it still played up. the car go's through all gears and got good power until it gets to hot. when u put the foot down it loses power and does nothing.dosnt sound to good.tested the brakes for drag, tested the dizzy and coil which both read the same as my bros car.should the car get this hot? is it the transmission? or the crank angle sensor. maybe water pump or is it somthing else?
just read in manual maybe its the airflow meter.

Hi we had the same trouble for us it was our electrical system. 1st they changed the airflow meter and it went fine for a while then went back to its old ways so they tested it some more and changed all the high tension leads and now its good.
