what is the best way to get all the air out when bleeding a vl. just put a brand new radiator in it and new hoses,thermostat. etc

Im sure vls had a problem due to the engine not laying back enough and evacuating all the air.

I know nothing about commies but id suggest if you jack the front up about 2 foot and fill youll get most of the air out, then let it run until the thermosta

I thought that there was a plug in the back of the head closest to the firewall because the head was higher than the radiator? There are few things different about the Holden RB30 (I know its a Nissan motor) compared to the Nissan RB30 in Skylines etc.

You only have to be in front at the end of the race.

I had to do this myself a couple of years ago and i just searched old posts in oldholden and found these two. Hopefully they help you out.
BTW, this was done just before taking off on a high speed 3000 kay round trip to Andamooka then Whyalla and back to
