Something quite boring, but putting my car back together (i never took it apart) and i cant get my glove box to shut, i take it the catch for the glove box lid is a little sort of c shaped bracket that fits on top of the plastic glovebox liner, having fitted a new lock to the lid (i cant remove it) i realise now i might have fitted it upside down or 180 degrees out, (the catch for the lid is closest to the engine when the lid is open)

anyone got any advic?

cheers

yes you have the lock in upside down....if you fitted a new lock and you have the key you should be able to remove the barrel and turn it around...
