I bought a rebuilt engine for the internal parts and on top of the new pistons are the numbers RA2686 0.50 Top 0.04 GE 2 is this 50 thou over and is that ok for an engine.

no, they are not 50 over. They are probably 40 thou over. 0.04 = 4 hunredths = 40 thousandths

Oh Im sorry I hurt your feelings Anonymous Poster, I took one of the pistions down to our spare parts place and have a set of rings coming to suit the pistons.
