any one had anything to do with a vs statesman factory alarm going off, sometimes it even opens the boot by it self?

We had the boot issue with the in-laws VS Stato, and it turned out to be misalignment - the boot would close - and catch, but the lock wasn't quite closing all the way, and it would then release a few hours later.
