Hi All, My 307 in the HK is giving me grief every once in a while. It drives & takes off sweet , then when you pull up at the lights or stop etc it starts to surge as if I had my foot on the brake & was pushing the gas pedal & sometimes feels like it wants to stall. It drives sweet besides a little flat spot when accelerating while cruising around 50kays. I got off the highway yesterday after a decent run & it was revving high & when i idled off the lights it was moving as if i was trying to launch the thing, & when i pulled up at home it seems nearly back to normal. It runs a little 350 holley. I am suspecting the dizzy has issues? Any ideas on where to start looking?
Any input appreciated. Slamd

Mate i have the same problem. Any one else? I believe that the surge comes from the rpm dropping and then returning to normal rather than riseing as you have sugested (this gives the feeling of being about to stall) Let me know if you sort it out.

I thought i should add the alternator is charging at around 13.9 to 14 volts, so that can't be my problem. ( no voltage drops) |
