can anyone tell me if there is a suitable shifter for a Celica box which is fitted on a black 3.3 in my FJ (Humpie) and hoping to avoid making alterations to the bench seat if possable

I've got a supra box in an FJ and just had to heat and bend the standard shift to clear the bench seat easily, I can't imagine a celica box being too different.

I think you will find some steel case Celica boxes are shorter than others.I used one in HQ tonner and the shifter came out the original hole. Just had to make up a bent shifter like the original holden one to clear the bench seat.Cheers John.

The steel case Celica box could be had with the shifter in 3 different positions. Dellow might be able to help you with a more forward shifter www.dellowauto.com.au .

I had this problem when I fitted a Celica box to a Commodore so I cut the gearstic
