I have just bought myself a 1966 vc valiant and it had no keys with it. Does anyone know how to get the ignition barrel out so I can take it to the locksmith and get a key cut?

The chrome ring around the lock is actually a nut. Turn it anti clockwise and it will come off.
The lock then comes out from behind the dash.
