Hi guys, were the brake assemblys on the Hk,t,g banjo's the same as the Salisbury's. I have a housing with no brake assembly's. Did other model use the same brakes ? Cheers John.

Essentially all rear drum brakes are the same, but rear wheel cylinders and shoes are determined by front brakes. So you can get them off any HK to HG and put new wheel cylinders and shoes in.
There are two types of drums, finned and smooth. the finned

The brake drums mentioned are scalloped not finned. Aftermarket manufacturers produced finned drums for Holdens, but the majority of original fitment items have a smooth finish.
