Hi All,
I found last night in my cupboard some books from an HK GTS 186S I used to own (many years ago).
An original HK Monaro supplementary manual A service manual (the 26,000 mile service sheet and beyond is still there) An HK owner manual An Air Chief radio manual.
All in pretty good condition and complete. How much are these worth, if anything?
It may be that my old Monaro still exists and someone has restored it and would love the service manual for it. It has the front page all filled in too.
Michael

The supplementary manual alone fetches about $200 but there are now a few copies in the marketplace... but this probably wont hurt the value of an original just yet...
as for the owners books.... I would think more than $150 for a set of monaro books..

Thanks guys. Is the PSN the Vehicle Identification Number?
I miss my old HK GTS Monaro. I had the heaviest mechanical clutch in the universe, a gearbox made from lead instead of steel but it was a very charismatic car. Whats worse is it was a pretty

The PSN will be something like H550345. It may be recorded under the VIN location on the log book.

The PSN or VIN is H.544621. The car was/is a 1968 Inca Gold (although it was green when I had it), HK GTS 186S Monaro.
If anyone has this car let me know. Failing that would anyone like to buy a set of books?

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

Why am I best off keeping the service manual? I no longer have an HK.

I meant until we find out if the original car is still alive and kicking. Then you might get more for it :-) The supplement is generic, but that service manual is only good for one car.

That would be for either a very original car, or a properly restored one. An immaculate concours car may bring a bit more. Very nice examples that have been upgraded to V8 pull similar money.
