how long does it take to regain the full 12 points after a fine ?in nsw

3 years from the date of paying the fine for your last offence...

that is to get the full 12 again ... they dont come back all at once they come back after the 3 year anniversary of the offence... so if you lost 3 points a month ago for speeding and pa

I dont think they give you enough points to start with.

it used to be unlimited points in the N.T. until about 18 months ago.
but now even they have the 12 point system.

Inthe cities it should be say 24points and in the country 12, we live in the outback and have never had a point lost. Then again I dont drive in the cities either, I love our 5.00pm traffic here 500 cars are just great.

Should be less points if you live in the city, as you all have the luxury of excellent public transport... The only advantage in the bush is higher fuel prices!
