has anyone fitted Holden side impact protection doors to an HZ or earlier....
I want to know if Holden beefed up the door mounts when they started fitting these doors....
when did Holden start making these doors...?

LE coupes have them and i had a 76 HX with them as well ?

the impact protection was basically just a sheet metal top hat shape profile, the extra weight would have been only a 1/2 k or so, no extra strength in the pillars would have been necessary. but then again I dont actually know.
