Hey Guys just put a truscott performance varijet carb on the black 202 speedway engine and the problem is when trying to take off .
It tries to stall unless you give it some revs.
Idles fine has awesome power and no hesitation when secondary come on. Seems to be soon as you open the throttle on the primary thats where the hesitation is.
There are only 4 adjustments that i can make with a screwdriver , 1 is idle mixture and 2 is the idle screw 3 is the part load screw which is under the fuel inlet and 4 is the air implemented mixing screw.

Any one no what settings for these screws would be and id say that nuber 3 probley is the problem but info on these carbs is very limited and any help will be appreciated. Compared the the stock version of this carb the car has a very noticeable amount of more power which is just what we need.
Dave

Take it back to the shop, or find a carby shop to fix it. It sounds like it needs a better progression phase ie idle to open throttle.
