I seen a HQ LS Coupe today with a bonnet centre mould. Is this original? It looks like an EH bonnet mould with the bottom front section that rolls down, cut off.

If it is original, what other models had them, or were they a dealer accessory?

All,

Hood Ornament is the correct name. They could be fitted as an option or an accessory. Technically, they should have been outlawed when ADR 12 was instigated so only early 71 build HQs should have them.

Hope this helps.
