I have just been to Holden(Commodore) for some parts for my HZ and WB and they have been removed from their parts list, so there is no more listings with them any more. Also went to Rares as well and now have had 2 knock backs with parts that I require,

At least ten years from when the last of the model was sold for mechanical parts
About 7 years for panels
About 5 years for trims

This is unless there is still stock of the item, or it is selling very well. Otherwise a car manufacture is not obliged

Holden did have a massive warehouse cleanout about 3 to 5 years ago, they got rid of alot of stock in auction & clearing sales. thats how they found the new HQ grills tucked away that you could buy from dealers for $99.

People restoring VC Brock Commodores are still picking up the odd new items from Holden dealers.
You cant get a lot of stuff, but youd be amazed how much you can still get.

You also need to strike someone in spare parts who can actually use the comp
Cheers,

Mick

Try Coventrys in WA 08 9276 0111 - they were really helpful when I was chasing some NOS parts that were not available, and they actual had them in stock, I paid by plastic over the phone and they sent them the same day
