Hi, I have recently brought a VB commodore with a 330 stroker, 4 speed ford toploader and 9inch diff and was hoping to put it all in my HG monaro project. Does anyone know what would have to be changed for this setup to be installed? and what the best way would be to go about this?
The monaro was originally a six cylinder manual if that helps.

diff would need the commodore brackets removed and replaced with hktg, you would also need to check length because it should have been shortened to fit under c/dore....fabricate gearbox mount etc for gearbox and modify floor...replace sump and pick up,engi

Its running a 650DP at the moment.

Also, had the motor dry compression tested and it came up 150,150,160,150,150,150,150,150 just wondering because it blew a bit of blue smoke while i was parking it t

You would probably also have to adapt the car to accept the Commodores cable clutch.

If at first you dont succeed then skydiving is not for you.

Id change bellhousings to a push type fork and run a standard HK-HG hydraulic clutch.
