Hi guys, need some help on the HZ Premier. Have just swapped the red 253 to a 1984 Black 308 from a WB Statesman. It's engine # starts with 12WT. Had the wiring changed for electronic ignition with the 253 in it, so thought all I had to do was unplug and plug into distributor and coil on the 308. As fas as I can see, there's four wires - red from the ignition which should go to the positive on the coil, a brown from the harness which should be for the tacho, and a green and pink from the distributor. It's a big cap distributor that I think is standard. Can somebody just go over which wires go to the positive and negative, and how to safely check the coil and spark at the distributor? Sorry if this has been asked before, any help would be great.
