I get this bang noise when taking off, only on the initial, mind. and 1st 2ed 3rd ect. or off on throttle thing happening now. it's driving me up the wall. no other noise but this. 6 speed manual.
I have heard of a thing called cyclic knock problem. it is suppose to be a $4.00 fix for it. some inner shafts cerclips? but dealers are charging $1000 supposedly to fix. it's 1.8 hr job plus oil.
