i am confused about what colour my dash should be in my 71 gts coupe can same one give me some insight into weather it should be silver or black thanks.

Hi hq71, Im of the opinion that the 71 GTS dash fascia was silver, or a dull plastic chrome. ADR 12 required the use of non-glare componentry, forward of the drivers vision. This ADR came into effect on 1/1/73, although the black-over-silver fascia would |

hi andy, i have seen a conversation where people were saying that the black came in 72 sometime but they had no proof of that. can you confirm that the silver dash with the white lining around the edges is for 350 models.

I have a 8/71 coupe i am second owner and the car is in orginal trim with just 80,000 miles from new
to answer your question, my dash facia is black although has wear marks from cleaning

thanks heaps for that. im starting to beleive that the colour of the fascia was just random to suit the colour of the cars.
