hi

when i switch on my lights, the 2 tail lights light up

when i depress the brake, the drivers side lights up the brake light and the tail light stays on

but the passenger side brake light does not come on and the tail light goes out

swapped bulbs, checked earths, still the same

i want to get it right before i fit my new LED's

any thoughts pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese

Hi , "Auto electrician job" thats a short out in my opinion,save time just take it there an theyll know how to track it.Or you can waste a whole day on it when you could be doin other stuff.Sometimes its just better to bite the bullet an move on..

You have NO EARTH on the passenger side tail-light socket. As Jim said, get a sparky to repair it properly.

Be careful of using LED replacement globes for exterior lighting, try them out first.

Ive seen many cars with LED globes receive defects or f
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Got it guys

just adjusted the metal tabs on the light sockets

got lights and brake lights on both sides, sprayed the metal parts with LANNOX

unfortunately, the led body is too large at the top to fit the socket, so back to incandescent
