Hello,
Can anyone tell me the best way to get my ignition lock out of my dash .. cos Ive lost my key.. :( disaster

Were either of the door keys the same? Otherwise its very difficult and you will probably have to hire a locksmith or someone with a big bunch of try-outs

Nope Ive lost all my keys.. and Ive removed everything from the dash bar the ignition module so I can possibly cut it off (last resort).. Maybe Ill try the big bunch of keys route.. didnt think of that.

If you have to cut it off just undo the bezel as much as you can and lever the face off the barrel. It will most likely bugger the bezel and the barrel/face but you wont have to cut anything and you should be able to do it without busting the fascia or th

Hang on a sec I said WERE the door keys the same? If so you can get the code off the actuator flaps and pay about $30 to have one cut to code

If only they were.. Good idea but the ignition one was different..
Ill try the keys first followed by bugger-up-barrel method...

the easiest way to remove an indash ignition without screwing up the dash is ....large flat head screwdriver in the slot where the key goes and a pair of vice grips on the flat part close to the ignition and twist...this will remove the outer cover allowi
