Towards the rear of the BASE of twin throttle manifold
(approx. 2/3rds of the way down the middle towards
the rear on the valley cover itself)
there is a round hole with a tapered edge the size of a 50 cent piece.
Any one know what belongs there?
Is it a grommet of some sort?
If so what is the grommet made of.
Plastic, rubber or metal/plastic etc.
Or is it something else all together?
Like some sort of breather for instance.

CAN ANY ONE HELP PLEASE ???

A T-piece goes in there that has 2 PCV hoses running off it:

The one off the left goes to the air inlet pipe to the throttle bodies, and the one off the right connects to the PCV valve.

Thanks for your answer to my question Mick.

Solved our problem as someone else had told us
to use a rubber grommet and when we started the engine
for the first time it got sucked in to the engine.

Is this an orig

Try your nearest Holden dealer tomorrow.

The grommet is part # 7439585
The T-piece is part # 92060582

The grommet is the same as what goes in the end of the blue & black carby V8 rocker covers where the PCV valve & PCV vent plug in (one on each sid

Thanks for that Mick.
Your help is much appreciated.

Regarding getting those two parts (grommet+T-piece) from Holden.
They are obsolete.
Rare Spares carry the grommet but not the T-piece.
I will have a look at a universal type T-piece that
