HI EVERYBODY
I Have been offered a ht gts factory v8 rolling body to buy,(factory verodo green and black interior)
It has been offered to me for 15k just as a shell with some spares thrown in like seats, a couple of bonnets a dash and some little things, it will require quite extensive body work like the back rear quarter replaced and some of the floor, other than that it is in pretty good condition, there is no paint on it at all.

Does this sound like a reasonable price?
i am after my first monaro but dont want to jump in to deep to early
your thoughts?

Unless you can do a lot of the work yourself (especially bodywork & paint), it will end up being one long drawn out & expensive project. Do your numbers first & speak to guys who have done this before you hand over 15 big ones.

If you can do it, go for
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Thanks DR Terry,

that was my concern how much it was going to cost getting done right, it has been quoted at 25k for bodywork only and to be done correctly, and considering i trip the shed circuit breaker every time i have had a crack at welding someth

To do a complete resto, and I mean a proper nut and bolt job, dont expect much change out of 100k. Obviously not everyone can manage to do this type of extensive resto, but in my opinion if its worth doing, its worth doing right. Check out my post in the
