mate of mine just bought a bog stock perfect condition 96 fairlane gia and it drives like a dream and its a family car. but the old 302 Injected engine it come with isnt known for its power and he was wondering what little things he could do to give it a bit more kick and make it feel more and sound like a v8. we have both only had holdens and had the 5 litre fuel injected models so dont really know much about these cars. any sugestions on induction, chip, inlet extaust ect.. he bought the car cause he tows his boat so he just wants a bit more boot in the pedel and a better note. any sugestions?

Easiest but not necessarily the cheapest improvement would be to replace the inlet manifold with an AU/Explorer unit. in conjunction you also need the bigger injectors, throttle body and MAF. This all works with no ECU modification.

A better flowing
