would anybody know if swapping a front yoke from an ED to and EA diff is a straight bolt off, bolt on thing or are there differances like pinion shaft or is it easier to use EA unijoint tailshaft. Are there any other things different between the 2?

Hello Landy, It sounds like you are trying to fit an EA yoke type diff to an ED. Easiest way out would be to use the EA tail shaft too. They have smaller uni's and most of them were steel.

Thanks for the info Jim yeah the EA was a 3 speed auto so yes I think I'll wait until something else comes up.

I Have just what you want here but A:/ I'm too far away and B:/ I'm only interested in swapping it for a 3.27:1 EB2 ED wagon LSD.
