Hello all. I have gone a head and Rebuilt my 302cleveland, now running flat top pistons, 21665 crow cam. MSD ignition, all the goodies. Ran it all in on a 2 barrel holey. Now I am wanting to bolt on my Redline tunnel ram on to it. But unshore on what jets to try in it first. The Carbs are 2x 1404 500CFM edelbrock carbs. A bit big I know, but hopefly will work when jetted down?
Any help would be much appreciated??

carbs that are small will give quick off the line reponse but lag out as revs increase. Carbs to big is slow off the line. You will proberly fowl plugs and blow smoke with 2 carbs that size.
The math formula is: CARB CFM = CU.IN. X RPM divided by 345 |
If its not broke it will be soon |
