G'day guys,
I have been out this arvo getting all wog and putting LED bulbs in the XB's dash to shed some light on things. Was all going well for a while and all of a sudden I now have no power to the instument panel. I have checked the fuses and all are intact. The loom is earthing as I still have indicators however when I turn on the lights, there is no power to the blue/black lead which my factory manual tells me provides illumination. What else could it be?

Oh yeah all of a sudden there is no power to the fan on my heater (again sounds very fusey but all are good).

Is there a relay I should be looking for?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Porch

The instrument lights run off the same fuse as the tail lights.

Do your tail lights still work? if they do the problem is upstream from the fuse (try fiddling the light dimmer).

If your tail lights don't work then the problem is the fuse or someth

Thanks Jim. The tailights do work. I had the switch out and it/the headlights are still working. The dimmer may be the problem I suppose but when put on full the interior light still works. I had two push on clips free in the back there but there are n

Check the big plug in under the dash that the dash loom plugs into. If all else fails unplug from there and check for power. Also check the earth leads and recheck those fuses first. Your car might have an aftermarket headloght relay fitted. Look unde

Thanks again for your help guys. I found it. It was the metal dimmer thingy at the back of the dimmer switch. Replaced it and all was well. Then I went for a drive and now I have lost my indicators, horn, and demister. Also the lights have packed it
